Endgame: Deathwing Gets His Due in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Patch 4.3
Blizzard's World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion took the massively multiplayer world by storm during its release in December 2010, offering new and updated zones, harder dungeons, and two new races to spice up the game's almost seven-year-old framework. That initial flash of enthusiasm fizzled considerably over the following months, but Blizzard's recently announced patch 4.3 looks like it provides just the kind of content the MMO juggernaut needs to stave off its upcoming rivals. The details are still a bit murky, though, so last week I spoke with Greg Street -- Blizzard's lead systems designer -- to get a better idea of what Azeroth's millions of citizens can expect in the coming months
